Starwars Rey's Speeder

With more then  9+ of these types of projects on Ideas, and with big names like reekardoo even making one of these, you're likely to get maybe, 100 to even 400 supporters if you show good building style. Although there is a good Chance LEGO will make a set like this, I doubt it will be a Idea set.
If you want to support this go to the link below

This is my favorite of these type of project, so I thought I show it to you guys :)

Mini Unimog

Model and Description by filmvr
This Unimog is built at the same Minifig scale as other City construction vehicles, yet it has functional steering like the large scale Technic set that inspired it (8110).  Its footprint is roughly 6 studs wide by 17 studs long and is made up of over 350 elements to form a very detailed and solid construction.  Many small elements add up to make it a heavier model than one might expect for a Lego truck of this size. It features a flatbed that tilts 120 degrees, and enough space behind the headlights to add Power Functions LED headlights.
This stop motion video shows how all of its elements combine to become the Mini Unimog as well as its various functions:

About the Build:
This model went through many iterations before I considered it finished.  The biggest design challenge was fitting the desired amount of detail into the hood while supporting the windshield at an angle that could legally connect back to the roof for maximum rigidity.  Lego Digital Designer was instrumental in solving this problem.  It was also tricky getting the steering to work at this small scale while preventing the wheels from coming into contact with the surrounding wheel wells.

I hope you like the Mini Unimog.  More pictures will be posted to my flickr photostream.  Please vote for this to be produced as an official Lego set and check out my other ideas including Knight Rider.  Thanks for your support!

Exotic Market

There are so many new things to see, smell and taste here at the Exotic Market!

Take a stroll down by the river while buying exciting things from the market stalls!  Have a rest at the Juice Bar or cool off at the ice cream stand while the sun shines brightly overhead. Boats can flow down the cool river to drop off shoppers or to re-stock the stalls!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The stalls include:
  • Souvenir/toy shop
  • Ice cream counter
  • Fruit and veg stall
  • Upstairs Juice Bar
  • Rare gems and treasures stall
  • Flower stand
  • Perfume stall
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are also many details on the buildings above the stalls including signs, colourful windows and facades, a balcony and a bridge over the river, which can be raised to let taller boats through. There are many interesting styles of architecture too.

This set is not limited in any way, it could be made smaller or larger; simpler or more advanced. This means it can be designed suit any price range and people of any building ability.

8-16 Hulkbuster set

Read the about the set in the Description

With more then 10+ Hulkbusters on LEGO Ideas, it is not uncommon to get only about 100-400 supporters ( only the Hulkbuster UCS has over 4000) But Ideas members still put'em on.
This is one of the 'better' Hulkbusters on Ideas with the capability to put a minifigure in the suit.
Although the set maker does not give an  piece count, I'd say some where from 800-950 bricks in these set. With many HBs (Hulkbusters) on Ideas, The LEGO Group may even make a set of there own, who knows? they could.

R-15 HACS (Heavy Assault Combat Suit)

Description by LEGO Ideas member and project maker legoboy9247
The R-15 HACS (Heavy Assault Combat Suit) is an assault vehicle, able to replace human soldiers in most situations. Its top speed is a slow jog, allowing it to obtain speeds of about 35 mph. The HACS's vaguely human form grants high maneuverability in combat scenarios, including a 360 degree rotating waist and tri-jointed legs which enable it to absorb the impact from falling. The weapons on its 'hands' can be switched out based on the requirements of its mission. This HACS is outfitted with the standard armament: A three-barrel 30 mm rotating cannon, eight HEAT missiles and four AGM-12 rockets guided by advanced targeting systems. All models are protected by 1 1/4 alloy plating, allowing it to withstand heavy gunfire and light to medium explosives.
The pilot sits in the main body of the HACS and, due to the lack of a canopy, views his surroundings through high-resolution TV cameras located at various points on the suit's exterior. The arm movements are controlled by gloves the pilot wears which are synchronized to the HACS's appendages. Whenever the HAC's arms encounter something, the resistance is transmitted to the pilot's controls, allowing him to feel what the HACS is doing. The legs movements are operated in the same way as the arms, except by a pair of pedals which the pilot pushes with his feet in stead of using his hands. One of the biggest issues with the HACS is for the operator to get it back on its feet after it as fallen. Fortunately, advanced gyroscopic mechanisms prevent this from occurring the majority of the time.
The HACS comes in two colors: an olive green for forested landscapes and a dark sandy brown for desert operations. The piece count is 872.
Please support the R-15 HACS if you would like to see it as an official LEGO set! But don't stop there. Follow and share this project on any social media website you can think of to help spread the word! Only YOU can make the R-15 HACS the next set from LEGO Ideas!

UCS: Boba Fett

Description by LEGO Ideas member an creator  Geonosis Arena

The galaxy's most feared (and loved by the fans), bounty hunter now has the chance of becoming immortalized in a UCS ,(Ultra Collector's set) format. The character has a beautiful armor design and so I think a figure of this size should bring out quite the display.
I plan to add some updates which will bring some more extra features to this figure such as some extra weapons, equipment and even his hook/string. So if you don't see something you were expecting here but there are updates available in the updates section make sure to check it out!
Thank you for checking out my design, may the bounty be with you.

this shows an amazing design and would make an great display set!

LEGO Themes

I know that this is not the usual thing I post here, but I have a fair amount to say on the matter. If you read my older post, you saw how I was talking about the push for female minifigs. well that's what I am going to talk about now. Why the push? You may say that LEGO only has FRIENDS for girls, well your right, but I can not see it continuing, LEGO has had girls only themes before and they all failed, so I think that FRIENDS will to, I do not see it taking a place among LEGO biggest and most popular themes such as Star Wars, City, and Mindstroms. And where is the BOYS ONLY themes? if there has to be more girls themes, I want a boys only theme too! You can't say that LEGO has a boys theme because, I am here to tell you, they do not. If LEGO has to bend and make more girls themes, I think LEGO will have lost money at the end. LEGO has done fine in the past and is doing fine now, so, leave it be! let it add it's own themes when a it wants.
that is all I have to say right now so, if you think different, please post a comment!

Walking Probe Launcher review

this is the Walking Probe Launcher made by LEGO Ideas member Jason Railton.
Made using a unknown number of LEGO bricks the Walker is a set to behold! with waking capability, it gets a 8/10 score from me, why? well 1st...Why the female minifig.? what I don't get is what the big deal is about pushing female minifigs in to LEGO sets, I mean we already have a "female only" set! You may say that LEGO does not have many themes for girls (all LEGO has is FRIENDS ), well, where are the themes just for boys? I'll tell you- nowhere. Well, lets get back to the set shall we? 2nd- is there much playability with this? will...yes and no.  is all you can do with it is watch it walk? I guess you can take is apart and build something new, but is that about all? I think with all honesty that it will not make it though the LEGO Review. But all that aside it shows a great master work of movability.

The Forgotten from LEGO Ideas #4

LIGR (Light Infantry Grid Runner)
Description by LEGO Ideas member and maker of project : danr
The Light Infantry Grid Runner (LIGR) is my own take on a future fighting vehicle, in the style of the JLTV. I felt that my Iron Mountain Legion theme needed a small scout vehicle, akin to a Jeep or Humvee. Arguably, the name is a bit of a reach, but once I'd decided to put "Light Infantry" in the name, I couldn't help but try to name it Liger. While this is a post-apocalyptic theme, every apocalypse has a before-time, and these were clearly designed to run on or across a highway grid girding what would become the wasteland. Yeah, that's the ticket, it's a Grid Runner.

I thought that it was important to make it capable, and fun to play with, so I started by building a chasis with suspension. From there, I tried to add the usual visual style of the theme, so the model is a little tall and oversized, and, obviously, dark gray. In further pursuit of playability, I added working doors and tail hatches, and a nest on the roof.

I LOVE this set :D go to https://ideas.lego.com/projects/6582 and support!

The Forgotten from LEGO Ideas #3

Outpost-12
Outpost-12 is a small outpost with limited defenses. The tower spans into the planet to a depth of 100 meters to explore and mine metals that can be significantly stronger than any found on Earth. Everyday is a challenge to survive near the abandoned ruins the Crusaders fled from over 100 years ago. Since then only outlaws travel this land. However, one Crusader spotted Outpost-12. It cataloged everything it had seen to its bio-mechanical memory drives. After reaching a Crusader city, the single Crusader proposed his allowance to return to his home in exchange for all the information he had gathered on Outpost-12. The city leaders immediately ordered an airstrike on the site. A desperate operation to eliminate all hostiles. But the humans will not go down without a fight!

Details:
-Rocket explosion over turning a Rover.
-Lasers exploding a Crusader Attack Ship.
-Tank engaged in combat with another Crusader Attack Ship.
-Heavily armored and weaponized Tower.
-Crusader killing a human.
-Many humans running into combat.
-Crusader skeleton.

As they make their way westward, the LEGO settlers must stay alert for the many dangers that exist along the trail. Traveling across the desert road can be quit treacherous, so pa has filled the water barrel, and is ready with his trusty rifle for whatever may happen. Due to the long journey, they were only able to pack a few precious belongings: ma's favorite chair, a hand sewn patchwork quilt, the baby's cradle, a chest with parting letters from loved ones, a cherished book, a frying pan, and some farm equipment. Any other items will have to be built or purchased when they reach the end of the trail.
About the Project
The Settlers' Covered Wagon is designed to portray a different side of the western themes LEGO has sold in the past. This project focuses on those who traveled westward, seeking new land and a new home. The covered wagon is designed to be as historically accurate as possible while still keeping playability in mind. In addition to the items mentioned above, the covered wagon includes: settler family (father, mother, son, daughter, and infant child), oxen, horse, watch dog, ox skull and cactus.
Your support and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hover Scout and Recharge Dock

Who doesn't love a bit of Classic Space? With the groovy new green spacemen that appeared in official sets some months ago, iso3200  thought he'd have a go myself and expand their universe with a little something...
he wanted to come up with a set that would work as a vignette, be a fun build and have that playable *swooshability* factor thrown in for good measure. The easy ability to use two sets together built back to back could broaden appeal.
Rather than base the idea on just digital renderings, to ensure the set could come in at a decent budget and still be entertaining to build, I designed it mainly with parts that I've obtained the Lego Brand Store Pick-a-Brick walls, and have built it in the real world.
Coming in at around the 350 pieces mark this should be an easy set to produce - and have a sensible RRP.

Hover Scout
Pilot the Hover Scout with its AGE drive (Anti Gravity Engine) providing lift and thrust over planetary surfaces. Comms and surveying equipment built in for 2nd mate operation, or use the extra space to seat a 3rd person to become a quick personal transporter.
Recharge Dock
Land on the magnetic plates to re-energise the AGE. Download your gathered data to the attached Data Station. Dismount and await your next sortie.
Data Station
Analyse gathered data on the workstation computer banks. Kick back, hang up your airtanks and take a seat. Play cards. Maybe drink some tea.

If you like the concept, please show your support. Hopefully this set could be a reality some day.
